Noble Shotgun

I have a good friend that acquired a Noble shotgun model 60.
I am trying to find information on this company and perhaps the value if in good shape.

Ditto a H&R model 400.

Any and all help appreciated.

    Would anyone have a schematic for the receiver parts of a 12 gauge Noble Model XNH 560-8A. I need a spring that is not the same as the one listed in the Numrich catalogs for Model 60s etc... This gun was marketed by Western Field for a few years. If anyone has this model, Please mail your phone number and I will call you to discuss the parts. Thanks

    I'm not familiar with this model, is it a pump gun? If so, go to www.e-gunparts.com and look at the schematics for a S&W model 916.

    trap...nobles were made in new haven conn way back in time. nice guns equal or just a step down to nikkos or 101's.

    see, this is what happens when i dont have my coffee first. correction...nobles were from mass.. they were marketed thru new haven. im bias towards o&u and totally ignored the pump line up. some of the the pumps were built in new haven with mossberg, savage, and hi standard cross over parts. (much like the american motors cars) check out the IPB's carefully, you may find your part on another gun.

    THANKS FOR THE LEADS FELLOWS. I WILL CHECK THE COMPARABLE SCHEMATICS IN NUMERICH. I HAVE CONTACTED A GUNSMITHING SCHHOL ON THE INTERNET THAT OFFERED A SESSION ON NOBLE SHOTGUNS IN IT'S LESSON PLANS. THEY ARE CHECKING FOR A SCHEMATIC ON THE XNH 560-8A. THANKS AGAIN AND ANY MORE INFORMATION WILL BE APPRECIATED.

    Bobski,have 2 cups! Remember that the S&W 96 & 916 were Noble pump gun Patents bought by S&W and made by Howa for them.

    hsbmo,Use the search on this forum site and search "schematics" or any variation of that. Awhile back a whole bunch of us posted websites that had free ones. Also a flaw in the Noble pump guns. They had a cast bronze alloy (slide plate?) that can wear enough to let the bolt blow back when fired.     Just resurecting this post. I also have a westernfield xnh-560-8A and am looking for a release lever that has the "hook" shaped spring attached. I also dont see the exact part on the schematic. The lever looks the same but I dont see the spring attached to it. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

    I also checked the Noble model schematics which appear to be closer to what I have, and I still dont see the right part. I had a gunsmith try to make me a new spring but he couldnt get it made quite right and kept breaking the springs. Obviously a design flaw on this shotgun.
