Remington 11-48 question
A friend of mine has a Remington model 11-48 shotgun in 16 guage.
He's needing a barrel for it. I've searched GB and didn't find one.
Does anyone know where he'd be able to find a barrel?

Does the Remington 11-48 16 gauge shotgun have a buffer in the fore arm that cushions the barrel lug as the barrel returns after firing?
The lug is stopped in the fore arm by metal to metal contact.
I am trying to determine why the bolt handle flys out occasionally.

POST A LISTINGS ON THW "WANT ADS"
I WOULD RATHER BE DUCK HUNTING.0 -
The GunList is also a good place to look for a barrel.Broome Firearms and Vintage Sports had a sizable ad in the May 7 issue.
Good luck,

The Remington 11-48, Sportsman 48 and Mohawk 48 all take the
same barrel.0
