Can a private guy buy guns in the auction portion?
How do I view what is for sale? I have not seen that forum. Do I need to be a dealer or something?

Don't have to be a dealer to win an auction, BUT you do have to have a dealer or someone with an FFL license to ship the gun to. This can cost from $10 on up depending on dealer. You also have to pay for shipping to the dealer, which also will vary with different auctions. Also some states prohibit certain weapons, so watch out for this.. Always figure in the extras when you bid for an item and then see if it is indeed a good deal afterall. Bargains can indeed be found here
,just know what you are bidding on, check out all the auctions and have fun!! I have bought many guns here, as my wife will attest to, [:D]and this fever just gets worse with each auction. Good Luck and welcome to the Forum. Dandy0 -

What is for sale is not a "forum"--it's the auction site:
http://www.gunbroker.com
Type in a search term for what you're looking for. As already noted, once registered (registration is separate for the forums here and the auction site) you can bid/buy, but you need to follow the Federal and State laws when receiving firearms. Those selling cannot ship directly to you; they have to ship to a local Federally Licensed firearms dealer, then the dealer transfers the gun to you. The auction site has a search feature to help you find a dealer in your area: http://www.gunbroker.com/user/DealerNetwork.asp
Be careful at the auction site--it can get addictive!0
