german pin info needed

a co worker brought in a neat pin..it is oval in shape...1 1/2 inches tall about 1 and 3/8 inches wide...on the face is a greman helmut facing left with a swastika appearing underneath that is 2 crossed swords with the blades pointing up and out..the outer edge looks like it is draped in frabric with a tied bow at the base..the pin on the reverse is verticle ...appears to be made of stamped brass,,but has darkened up with age...real nice dark brown patina...any info on this would be great..thanks in advance...Kris
