Colt .45 cal. Peacemaker
I have a Colt .45cal. black power handgun...serial # 14631...someone told me it was manufactured in 1892...Ive been told its called a "peacemaker"...I would like to know if the manufacture date is correct and what the aproximate value of this gun is...I appreciate any and all help with this matter...Thank you in advance...Pictures upon request...Gary Lambert

It's an 1874 revolver. Can you tell us all of the markings on the gun and where they are located?
This is a potentially very valuable gun. Worth is dependent on condition, markings and the presence of original parts.

Is that the complete serial number? If so it was made as stated above. Serial numbers for 1891 ended with 144,000. 0
