Rem 760 Barrel Removal

I'm currious, does the barrel on a Rem 760/7600 pump action rifle remove something like the barrel of a Rem 870 shotgun? Or is it screwed in more like the Rem 700?

  The barrel is not "screwed in". After the action tube is removed, the whole forearm and barrel will pull off .

  Thanks Hangfire, from looking at exploded diagrams and prior experiece with the 870 that is what I thought would be the case.
