Has anyone had any experience with the Argentina made 9 mm. Hi-Powers being sold by Southern Ohio Guns?

  I owned one of the original early 80's imports, it functioned well.
  
  There has been a lot of discussion on the boards, vis a vis the quality of the early imports to the one's now being imported.

  I have one of the earlier "FM" imports and it works like a dream. I'm actually shopping for another.

  I have a full size FM that I purchased about 8 years ago. It works well with ball ammo but not as well as my Brownings with hollow points or lead bullets. They are not as nicely finished as a Browning, but they are a good pistol for what they cost.

  I've used one of the FM HP's for several years and had zero problems. I've installed aftermarket springs and safety but that's just because I like to tinker.
