RUGER 10/22 WITH OR WITH OUT SCOPE
I am getting ready to put a 10/22 on GB. I fixed a scope on it I had laying around. New scope for pellet guns and .22s. Will scope enhance sell, distract from sell, or make no difference.

Since the scope is for pellet guns and .22's its likely not an expensive one, but it should still enhance the sale a little.
Any interested buyers could easily remove it if they dont need it. If you have no need for the scope, leave it on the gun and sell it that way.

I FIND IT IS EASER TO SELL A GUN WITHOUT A SCOPE. MOST SHOOTERS I KNOW HAVE THEIR OWN FAVORITE SCOPES AND WILL NOT OFFER MUCH FOR A USED SCOPE. GOOD LUCK.
I WOULD RATHER BE DUCK HUNTING.0 -
Duckhunter has the right idea. If I buy or trade for a rifle at a gun show with a scope on it, I remove it and the base and rings to sell separately. I NEVER offer more for a gun with a scope since some people will put a junker on the gun and keep their good scope to put on another one. I just keep a supply of plug screws to install in the receiver if I plan to resell it.
