Baby Hammerless 22lr
Any collector intrest in these little pocket guns. I had and may have another oppurtunity to buy it for $250. It was screaming for a cleaning but other than that looked functional. Any ideas?

Believe the revolver your posting about is called the "Kolb Baby Hammerless". They were made in Philadelphia PA, before and after the First World War.
They have a reputation for being extremely fragile and would be considered as a novelty, even if functional.
I'm sure you can find a lot better things to put 250 bucks into.

if the grip panels are marked with a "K" they are KOLB production guns. if the grip panels are marked "S" they are SEDGLEY production.
the KOLB guns are early production "originals" and are worth a little more. collectors prefer the "KOLB" varient.
the SEDGLEY guns are later, "2nd run" production pieces and are not as collectable.
we own several "KOLB BABY HAMMERLESS" pocket revolvers. parts are available, they are well made and clean up nicely. the part that most often brakes it the hinged trigger assembley. they often snap off and the little parts get caught up internaly.
nice old collectable PHILADA gun. they also made a nice FLARE GUN line, very interesting and collectable. best regards, mike.

Thanks, but there was no "S" or "k" on the grip handles. They were pearl though. The on marking on it was " baby hammerless 22lr 1907.
Thanks for the input. This was just an investment idea.
