S & W Model 19 Question

I acquired a S&W model 19 with a four inch barrel yesterday and have not owned a Smith in years. I need to get a set of grips for it but don't remember which frame it is. I was thinking it is the K frame but wanted to make sure. Thanks for any help.

  Yep....Its a K frame.Curved its a round butt, straight down its a square butt..

  The model 19 S & W is built on the K frame.
