volunteer arms comando " tommy gun"
does anyone know anyhting about these,never heard of this manufacturer before.they are or were out of knoxville tn.my main question would be will parts from these interchange with any other tommy gun,like thompson,these can be bought fairly cheap so I was just curious about parts

There is/was one on GB and may be one you referring to. I did a google on it and like you said company no longer in business and taken over by some company up North that makes containers or some such nonsense. Anyway, I figured parts would be almost impossible to get unless interchangeable with Auto-Ordnance stuff. Why mess with it if one can spend little more than double the asking price and buy a new Thompson?

There is a good reason that this company is out of business, the firearm that you are asking about is junk. Please, DON'T waste your time or money on it. I have had the great displeasure of trying to fix 3 of these POS and I am suggesting that you can find a better firearm to spend your money on.

The Commando isn't a copy of a Thompson SMG. They're styled to resemble them externally but their internal operation is totally different. No parts will interchange.
They're also made from inferior, soft metals and will wear quickly to the point where they'll cease to function. These should be avoided at all costs.0
