700 remington help

this is not the correct forum , but since it is the experts, and experts become experts by lots of exposure, i am throwing this out..have any of you run across a stainless steel synthetic , sporter weight in a 6mm in your travels to local shops or gunshows ?

  scott: about the only way to get one like this, is through their custom shop.

  I agree, you will have to go to the Remington Custom shop to have a SS 6mm built or find a custom gunsmith on your own to do the work. Good luck

  they are very difficult to find, but they were a factory production gun back in the early 90's...not that it does me any good now !!

  The standard 6mm isn't all that hard to find, but I agree with some of the other posts - I've never heard of a factory SS version.
