WW 2 M-1 Garand.. Need a expert
Have a Springfield ww 2 M-1 Garand in excelent plus condition.
Ser # 3,656,668 with what seems to be the original barrel. However
the chamber end of the barrel is in the white. Not parkerized like
the rest of the barrel. Gas port is also parkerized along with the
rest of the barrel. As reciever and barrel seem to be correct for this
date what gives??? Other parts seem to be proper according to Scott
Duffs book. Is this normal???
