Springfield 1911
I am purchasing a new Blk stainless springfield with adg. sites for carry. Could I purchase a new slide with the low mount novak sites somewhere. Or could I just carry as is. My concern is the adj. sites snagging on my clothing? Please Help = (

Does anyone know about when or at what ser. number (or how to tell by looking at your gun) when springfield started makijg 1911's in Brazil? And are they still being made there today?
Thanks0 -
If you are looking to purchase one just look on the gunbroker site for mags...either way you could always call springfield and speak with a sales rep or technician. They should be able to give you the proper serial number for that mag

I noticed that CDNN had them in the latest issue of Shotgun News for $37.99. 0 -
i am wondering the model # of the gun not the magazine.... if i cant find the gun i dont really need the mags 0 -
I couldn't find the gun either.
I've been prowling that site for months, too.
Discontinued? Too many states with a 10 round capacity?0 -
The springfield website took off the high capacity 1911 at the turn of the year. This past christmas, I was looking at them, come January they were gone. however, here is the model number, PX9707L, there are a few on "other" sights for sale. It is a big heavy gun to carry, that is why I choose the champion model instead. Hope this helps.
