    Your best bet would be to post to the Hi-Power collectors site. They have historical articles regarding the P 35 & multiple forums, that I'm sure could answer your question.

    Hello Webley,
    Yes. The only variation that had them was the fixed sight variation. The brown plastic grips were intermixed with walnut. The serial range to find them is 145,000 to 210,000 and again 01a to 63,000b.
