MAUSER POCKET PISTOL
Aquired mauser pocket pistol from grandfather seems to be in good shape except for some bluing rubbed off. The only backround I have on it is that is came from checkeloslovakia. If possible please give some info about it. On the left side it has serial number 293279 followed by WAFFENFABRIK MAUSER A-G OBERNDORF A.N. below that it has printed MAUSERS PATENT and below that it has the Mauser logo. On right side it has MAUSER - 7,65 . On back it has serial number printed again. Behind rear sight there is a strange looking sign. On the frame under the wooden handel, there are some letters printed like R, x, etc. curious on what those mean. Although not interested in selling, a estimated price would be nice. Any info would be greatly appriciated

The Model 1914's and latter Model 1934's were made in great quanity. It's estimated at 500,000 or more. Because of this their the most common of the German pocket pistols.
If your able to post some pictures, I'm sure some of our members could give you an idea of the value.
