Weatherby 300 mag LH bases and rings?

Just bought an accumark 300 weatherby mag (lefty). Plan on putting a leupold scope on. Due to higher recoil, I'm concerned about bases and rings. Any thoughts? Thanks. This beats the hell outta reality TV!

  if it was mine, i'd go with leupold 2 pc. base and dual dovetail rings. solid as a rock.

  When I had my LH 300 Weatherby done by Weatherby, I believe they used Buehler.

  Using a Leupold 2-piece base #348422 from Midway with Leupold 1" extended rings mounted with a Unertl 20x Ultra Varmit scope on my Wby. .270mag bench rifle.
  No problems at all. Solid platform.

  I've got a 340 Weatherby mag with Weaver 2 piece mts and 4x4 rings. The scope hasn't moved since I replaced the Leupold mts, which is why I replaced them. For an interesting side note-if you come accross 300 H&H ammo shoot it in your Weatherby. All it does is to fire-form the brass and it makes a really great deer round with less recoil and you have brass for reloading.
