CZ-52 Conversion

Does anyone have experience with the drop in 9m/m barrel conversion for the 7.62x 25 CZ-52 Pistol[?]. I am worried that the barrel thickness would not be sufficient.

  It is fine for the 9x19, however, don't go reaming it out to a 9x23 or something. The big problem is feeding since the 7.62 Tok round and the CZ mag are a bit longer than the 9x19 cartridge. It's sort of like feeding .380's from a 9mm magazine, it works usually but it wasn't designed to. HTH

  I have sold the CZ52 pistols in 9mm for years. There hasn't been any complaints. These were ones that were offered by Century years ago. The 9mm CZ52 pistols are more expensive than the 7.62X25mm ones, but they are a lot cheaper to shoot. Other than the barrel, they use all the same mags and springs, etc.

  i have bought 2 9mm barrells and both have worked great.since then my friends have ordered 3 more and they all work fine.i havne done anything too the mags or the gun itself except replace the barrell.got mine from makarov.com.hope this helps don
