HELP OLD GOLD LEAF SHOTGUN??
I just received a GOLD LEAF single shot shotgun. I was hold it was from Sears and Roebuck back in 1910 or So..Can any one tell me it is worth and a little bit about it? No markings, just GOLD LEAF on the receiver. Nothing that says 12 ga. or any cal. Thanks.

Have you heard of the "Dread Naught" 12ga?
I thought it might be worth something and bought it, only to find out that it was one of many Stevens shotguns. Don't get me wrong, it's become a restoration project for me. All is not lost. the moral is that some people will put any thing on a side of a shotgun to sell it. Mine was made in 1913. I think it was popular then.0
