Ar 15 Bolts

Hello I just bought a new upper for my ar 15 and when I tried to fit in my bolt it won't fit are there different style bolts from different manufacturers?

in a world full of compromise some don't

  Make sure that the bolt is fully extended from the bolt carrier so that the carrier pin is underneath the gas tube. THat is the only thing that I can think would not let the carrier go into the frame. Can you tell where it is binding? Mare info would be good. Hope I can help

  I think I figured it out. The tube directing the gas to the boltcarrier is off center and preventing the bolt carrier to go all the way.
