Can anyone tell me when, if ever, Remington stopped "fire bluing" the small parts on the Model 51 pistol? Also when was it producted?

This is one of the slickest pocket pistols ever produced. A lot of human engineering went into the grip shape, angle and pointability.
A delayed blowback design, the pistol has no screws and assembles with novel interlocking parts.
John Browning called Pederson, the designer, a genius.
It was made in 32ACP and 380 between 1918 and 1932.0 -
V35 Thanks fore the info. However do you know anything about the "fire blued" parts? 0 -
Nope, I have an early one with fire blue trigger, safety and mag catch. I recall fire blue on the mag catch of a later one I had but don't remember the other parts. It was too long ago. 0
