Ithaca LSA-55 (Tikka)

My local pawn shop has one of these Ithaca .308's imported from Finland and made by Tikka for sale. The rifle is excellent condition. Does $300 sound about right? I'm impresed with the quality workmanship and light weight. Thanks!

  Thanks for your reply. I am planning to get it tomorrow, but wanted the opinion of someone who knows these rifles. If I don't buy it for whatever reason, I'll E-mail you the particulars. No finder's fee is necessary. I collect Finnish Mosin-Nagants and thought a Finnish made "modern" rifle would make a nice addition to my collection, not to mention the fact that I need a good "light" big game rifle. Could you tell me the significance (if any)of the marking "Balfor Steel" ? Thank you.

  Have had about 4 of those,,,smooth actions, 300. is a steal IMO. Quality rifle that did not get much fanfare in its time. nambu
