    lethality is not the answer. Stopping power is what you are after. Having the guy drop dead, 5 seconds after you shot him, and 2 seconds after he shot YOU 4-5x, is not the desired result. Some people are just flat out ignornt.

    bigger is NOT always better, but more POWERFUL is always a better bet, IF that power doesn't slow down your repeat hits, and IF that power doesn't come with a stupid price in carryability, like a 454 Casull for instance, and IF that power is transmitted to the target in a way that maximizes both shock and tissue damage, in a way calculated to have maximal effect on the attacker's ability and willingness to continue his attack.
