Hopkins and Allen Shot gun
I have come across a H&A 20ga.single shot shot gun w/lever lowering the breech block single shot .It Has the date of june 23,85 Oct 2,88.
the number 20 where the barrel lines up w/the reciever.I can't find alot of info in trader books,Iwould like to know a little history and it is in need of a stock,where I can purchase one ,any info would be deeply appreciated........

Your shotgun is probably at least 100 years old. H & A added falling block rifles & shotguns to their line in the 1880's when they bought out the company who was producing them.
As production of the shotguns were curtailed in the early 1900's, when they were replaced by conventional boxlock types, obtaining a stock might present a problem.
