info wanted on sar 48

Hi,I am looking at a Springfield Armory SAR-48, 1005-SA-48-Match rifle. Serial # is 124**. I was told it is a preban, is it? The rifle is mint. I would appreciate any info on it. Also, what would be a good price for the rifle? Thanks

  Can't help you with the price as the -48 Match rifle is not listed in the B B. As they were discontinued in 1989 and appear to be US made,I would say that it is preban.
