I did not state it is a requirement to say it is disasembled i said to just tell them that- MAKES THEM FEEL BETTER and they may not want to open the package then as they have a right to do. Just pull the magazine or zip tie the cylinder. YOU know most of the UPS and usps counter people are dolts anyway!!!!!.

    John W, Thanks for the explanation. I live in a small town and know all three postal clerks and the postmaster. They know the rules on shipping guns and never hassle me. I did overhear the postmaster tell one customer that he could not mail a pocketknife. Go figure.

    It is the same here i was asked once and told them it was in pieces and they said that made them feel better , so i tell them that always and have never been hassled.
