unfluted Model 60
About 15 years ago I purchased a Smith & Wesson Mod 60 .38 Special with an unfluted cylinder. I was told at the time it was one of 500 manufactured in this configuration. I do shoot and carry this "heavy" little revolver but it has been well cared for and is in pristine condition. My question is might it someday have some collectors value? Should I retire it to the gun safe? Any feedback would be appreciated.
Thanks
P.S. It will shoot 1" groups at 25 yards from a sandbag with 125 gn ammunition, in single action. It's a real shooter!
