Taurus 85 titanium/holster question.
My Soon to be Wife bought me a Taurus 85 Titanium in Matte Gold 2 years ago for Christmas. I heard that Taurus no longer made them in Matte Gold for sometime now. I called their support #'s and no one seemed to know anything, literally, they didnt even know they had made one in that shade until I gave the serial #. Can anyone give me the skinny on about how many were made?? Really any info would help. I debated on not shooting it early on, but felt that since I really wanted it anyway and since it probably wont be "the collector"..., well, i'm sure you know the rest.[:D] Its a great carry gun though. Thanks.

THE 85 IS GOING TO TAKE THE SAME HOLSTER AS S&W J-FRAME IN MOST CASE'S . I'VE GOT AN UNCLE MIKES , THAT IS THE SAME STYLE HOLSTER AS THE FOBUS."KYDEX" , I BELIEVE IS THE MODEL OF MINE.

The Taurus 85 does not fit the Fobus S&W J frame kydex holster. The barrel on the Taurus is very diffrent than the S&W. (check out the 85 85's barrel vs. a S&W) I was told that Fobus did make some, but they were discontinued about 2 years ago. I dont really know about the Uncle Mikes.
