Browning o/u

When did browning introduce the gran lightning and does it have invector or invector plus choke tubes. Additionally any information or impressions on this gun would be great.

  Helpful & knowledgable friends, please give me your thoughts on this one. Surely I can't go too far wrong in giving $700.00 for a local Browning 12 ga o/u, Belgian, 2-3/4" chambers, VR, satin stock with a few minor bumps, schnabel(?) fore-end, clean blue and shiniest bore and chambers. Got a quick glimpse of it after work and didn't notice choke info (is it the star/asterisk code like on A-5?) Thanks! Jim

  I believe the Gran Lighting was introduced in 1994 with invector chokes. In 1995 the 12 & 20ga Gran Lightings came with the invector-plus chokes. The 28 & 410's continued with the invector chokes.
