Info on Chicago Arms shotgun, model AG
I have an old shotgun that was made by Chicago Arms Co. It is a model AG. I need a barrel, and a firing pin, but I don't know who made this gun. I've checked in the blue book, and gun parts inc. cross reference, but I can't find anything. Any help will be appreciatted. Thanks. hacksaw45@aol.com

I don't know if my answer is going to do you much good? The shotgun book says, that their at least 90 years old and they were made by (2) long defunct manufacturers.
1), If it's hammerless it was made by the Andrew Fyrberg Co., in the first decade of the 20th Century.
2), If it has external hammers, it was Belgian, made up to W W I.

Thanks for the info. It does have an external hammer. I meant to put that in the ad. It looks a little like a winchester 97. If anybody has a barrel, or a parts gun cheap, I'd be interested. It is in 20 guage. Thanks.

Got our "Wires" crossed here. From your first post, I believed you were talking about a DOUBLE. My reference on them is "Side by Sides of the World" by Charles Carder.
Since your talking about a external hammer pump, all bets are off. I don't have a clue to who made it? Best thing to do would be to post some quality pictures, hopefully one of the members could identify it.
