Python Nickel vs Stainless finish

I'm having trouble telling the difference between nickel and stainless finish by looking at them. Any suggestions on how I can be sure which is which? Any opinions on which is better?

  This is a tough one. The nickel guns look as if they have a gold tone while the stainless guns just look silver. From a distance or in a computer pic, the nickel and polished stainless will look pretty similar.
  I like the nickel guns better, but that's just an asthetic preference. A nickel 6"....oooh!
