Old Model 12 date made and value?

Could anyone help me with determining the date made and approximate value of an old Model 12 Winchester in 12 guage?

Serial number 206030
12 Ga. Full 28"
fair condition, shoots and ejects OK
no bluing left, lots of light pitting on barrel and action
stock solid but small chip off toe about 1/4 inch x 1/2 inch
appears complete and all original and unrefinished

    As far as value goes,I'll leave that to someone else,but if I'm reading it right,the Blue Book shows the manufacture year to be 1919.

    TW: Bobby & Bert are dead on for the year of manufacture. But what caught my eye was "28" Full choke Those are a little rarer, since most of the full choke guns came with a 30" or 32" barrel. the 28" was usually found on the early Black Diamond grade Md 12s, along with the "Standard Trap".

    As far as price once again I concurr with Bert. However you could get more by parting it out. Meaning selling off the magazine assy., the barrel, the stocks, breech bolt, trigger assy. etc.

    You described the gun well, as far as condition, but what you didn't tell us, is it a plain barrel, or does it have a solid rib on it, or is it matted on top? Are the stocks plain, or do they have any checkering on them, are there "Black Diamonds" in the wrist of the stock just behind the receiver? Like I said the 28in full choke barrel was usually found on higher grade Md12s, than just a plain old field grade. Any extra's that I mentioned would add a signifcant amount of money. Just curious.     The barrel is a plain one, 28 inches and uncut as far as I can tell and it has a strong choke. I decided to pass on buying it as a young man in our community wanted it a lot and I'm happy he bought it. He paid around $200. I didn't see any diamonds or special markings. It appears to be an ordinary but solid old gun. Thanks to everyone for your information; I'm learning a lot from these forums.
