AR pricing after AWB sunset
Does anyone have an idea of where prices and manufacturing
configurations will go after the ban sunsets later this year?
Assuming they sunset does happen. Will preban gun prices fall? Will maufacturers go back to their old specs/designs? The
questions are many. Thanks for your replies....

Thanks Mark. Your comments are appreciated. I have a couple AR's
right now and have been following preban prices for quite a
long while hoping that prices become more affordable when the
ban expires. I personally cannot justify a Colt/Bush etc
preban at the current levels. It makes sense to me that the
mfr's would turn on production in the old configurations with the "evil features" you mentioned. Bushy, Armalite, RRA etc are making some really nice guns in post ban configuration. It would
be nice to have more choices in how we set them up with stocks,
mags, lugs etc.. Let's keep our fingers crossed the ban expires.0 -
I've been looking into my crystal ball this afternoon, and I have a feeling that if the ban does sunset that companies like Bushmaster ans Colt will NOT manufacture guns with the evil features, just to look politically correct. This is just a hunch. Of course if you wanted to buy a Bushy and add those features, that would be legal. I think most of the companies will add the features, but we know how Colt acts towards negative press and Bushmaster wasn't helped by the DC Sniper stories. Just my .02 0 -
If they DONT get with the program, and sell what the public WANTS, they will find themselves out of market share,PERIOD, and they will deserve to go-under. Thankfully, we have plenty of other AR makers who listen to what the buying public "says" (with their $). 0
