1. JOHNSON AUTOMATIC RIFLE BBL "JA" and "ORDNANCE BOMB PROOF" behind the front sight, on the top of the BBL. its NEW IN BOX, un fired, never installed, still wrapped in cosmoline.

Since no one else has responded, I can tell you that there is a lot of specialized collector interest in Johnson Automatics because of their use by early special forces in WWII like the Marine Raider Battalion. The Johnson lost the competition to the Garand, but was found to have at least one superior feature--its quick change barrel made it a better weapon for paratroops. You could take it down and carry it right on you, instead of having to pack and drop it separately like the Garand to avoid jump injuries (I believer they developed a padded Garand case to get around this problem later).
Even the postwar "sporters" made by the Johnson Automatics company from surplus military rifles in Cranston, R.I. and sold by mail all over the place (Winfield Arms, I think was the main vendor)now sell for over $1000 in any shape at all. There is even a guy who custom makes mil-spec Johnson barrels for replacements ($$$).
Someone will want to buy your barrel to replace his crapped out one. Don't. Since all your stuff is new and in the wrappers, don't sell the barrel to someone as a replacement part--you may well get some offers, but it should be kept intact in the wrappings until you find a serious Johnson collector. The wrappings may be worth as much as the barrel, but they aren't worth much without it, in my opinion. The NRA website should help you find a specialist collector or association.0 -

If it helps I got $500 for a used one in good condition on FLebay..I can see yours going over A grand without a problem 0
