Gun-Ho Gun box

Anyone own a Gun-Ho gun box? How do you like it? Compared to the old Pacmeyer's how does one stack up?

    Yes I own the 4 gun model. I have never owned another type so I can only comment on mine verse others I've seen. Adjusts well to the guns, plastic tray is sturdy, has held the drilled areas well where the scope was mounted and other things. No problems. The only wish is that the lower compartment was a little bigger for my "ears" and other "junk" that I take.

    Thanks Guy. The Pacmeyers are almost identical, in fact they own the patent for the desgin, or maybe sold it to Gun-Ho, I dunno, and are made of wood. The dimensions seem to be exactly the same except for the 5 gun model which is an inch and half wider. I'm like you and find they just dont hold enough. I resorted to adding wood shelving and compartments, glueing the with carpenters goop to hold mags, tools etc.

    I have used a number of gun boxes in the last 40 years .I have had a gun-ho and did not like it because the tray broke twice. The trouble with older boxes is the shelve is too near the top of the box to have a pistol with red dot on it to fit. I have a number of this type that I would sell.One other place to look is WWW.CHAMPCHOICE.COM they go to camp perry each year and good people to deal with. they have a box by TnB Enterprises that is very good I have one of these for sale also .Only thing I don't like about it is the size is to large for a skinny old man to carry.     gun boxes are as personal as shoes and socks. you cant buy one and expect it to work for everyone, yet thats what captializm is all about! i ended up making my own to suit my own needs. biggest problem with boxes is having the lid blow closed or...over, in a bad crosswind! my old pacmeyer with leather covered wood still suits me as a backup. i hate plastic. period.

    Boltthrower I have tow older wood boxes Too small for scoped pistols , one gun-ho with broken tray and one as new T n B Enterprisees as sold by CHAMPIONS CHOICE page 42 in their catalog kfwneedle@nexet.com
