Rimfire scope?
Looking for a low end Airgun/22Rimfire AO scope. Anyone have any experience with the lower end scopes such as BSA,Bushnell,Simmons? Which is the best? I have the high end scopes now looking for the boys rifle. Thanks in advance!

I've used RWS brand 4 power fixed as well as 2X7 variable air rifle scopes on rimfire rifles with very good results.

Cabela's sells a great 4x scope made for 22's.Its a 1" tube with a crosshair reticle and good for hunting and just shooting.I have one on a 1022 and a 9422 mag.They run around $35.00 0 -
Hello most 1 inch scopes are set up to be parralex free at 100 yards also to focus at 100 yards. Rimfire scopes are set to 50 yards and airgun scopes are set up to take recoil. believe it or not recoil on air guns are hard on highpower rife scopes because they recoil both forward and backwards. You get what you pay for in optics. There is no $35.00 scope that is as good as a name brand $200.00 scope. it all depends on what you are looking for on how much you will have to pay. 0 -
Perry is correct in that airguns are pure heII on scopes not made to handle their unique recoil signature...The BSA .22 special for about $20-25 can't be beat for a .22, but on a spring-piston airgun, you really need glass that is made for that application...

The scope from Cabela's is made for 22's set for 50yrds ,it is not a regular scope you just put on a 22 I do know the difference,it is in the pine ridge series and you can get it in 4x or 3-9 variable with the 3-9 being $10 higher. What was asked for was a low end scope.sorry but $200 is not low end to me 0 -
I had a Simmons 4-12 AO on a RWS .25 cal.It's not a cheap scope as I remember it wholesaled around $145.00.

ATF , how is it working for you?
In our shop all we sell is high end scopes so I have no experience with the cheaper optic. And I really want the AO.
