dan wesson .357 magnum revolver
i recently acquired from my dad a dan wesson .357 magnum...... it was made in monson, MA and has a serial number of 307xxx..... it is in its original box and has been shot under 20 times......there is a letter in the box dated 1981 congratulating the buyer on his purchase, along with an instructions manual and a barrel wrench.. i was wondering if anyone could tell me anything about it and maybe an estimate on how much it is worth?
thanks,
josh

Blue? What condition? What length barrel? Vented shroud or no? Need more info basically before a more accurate estimated value can be given. Generally, a DW 6 inch blue 357 goes anywhere from $250 to $650, the box and letter will give it a little more value. 0 -

4 inch....anywhere from $210 to mid $300's. For some reason, Dan Wessons did not hold resale value very well, but they are excellent guns. A DW 357 8 inch was my very first purchase more than 20 years ago, still remains one of my better shooters. Personally, I'd hang on to it if I were you. P.S. dont loose that wrench. 0
