    new XM15-E2S 20" A2 Heavy Bbl Rifle

    bush20master.gif

Price: $699.95 + shipping and transfer fee probly close to 750 total

Features of this lightweight, semi-automatic rifle include a heavy barrel with a gov't. mil. spec. chrome lining in both bore and chamber for optimum durability and accuracy. The 20" barrel, and all steel components, are manganese phosphate coated for complete protection against exterior corrosion or rust. The latest M16A2 rear sight system is incorporated offering dual flip-up apertures: the short range aperture (0-200 meters) has a larger opening for greater light gathering as well as better moving target visibility; the smaller aperture is designed for maximum accuracy at longer ranges. Knobs adjust the sight for windage and elevation - the elevation knob is graduated from 300 to 800 meters so that range adjustments may be made without the need to compensate for bullet drop. The receivers, of 7075T6 aircraft quality aluminum, are precision machined from forgings for maximum strength. The upper receiver includes an integral cartridge case deflector and a last round bolt hold open feature to alert the shooter of an empty magazine. The ribbed front handguard offers increased control and heat dissipation and is molded of mil. spec. polymer thermoset composite. The XM15 E2S 20" Rifle is shipped in our clamshell style hard case complete with 10 round magazine, operating, safety and instruction manual, and sling. All Complete Bushmaster Rifles and Carbines are now being shipped in this hard plastic, lockable case. A $16.95 Value

    Hope that helps some.

You can get a stripped lower for $100, and a kit for about $450. Figure in shipping and about an hour (if you've never put one together) for assembely. You're right, he's high. Offer him $650 if it looks good......

The above fellas are right on the money. The gun may function and shhot just fine, as both pieces are from reliable manufacturers. It still is a mismatch and if you go to sell, trade, the value will reflect that. Take a look at it, but I would look around a little first. It's tough to beat Bushmaster on price or quality.

Would rather buy this one than a parts gun or just buy fron RRA and get one hell of a deal. I love my RRA M4

my brand new bushmaster 20" was only $708, however i have seen most brand new bushmaster 20"s for around 750 around here (oregon) i think i would rather have a factory assembled all matching brand new bushmaster rather than some mismatched kit gun. i would rather pay the few extra dollars for a gun that i know excactly what has been done to it. just my 2cents.
