Install chokes on Marine Magnum

Can anyone tell me if it's possible to install interchangeable chokes on a Remington Marine Magnum? What would a reliable gunsmith charge to do so?

Nope...the information I found listed it as cyl. bore.

mine marine mag is cylinder bored. all i put thru it is 00 and slugs

rather than alter your barrel, why not just buy another with the choke tubes already set up? check out auction #18305731. with such a barrel, you would have your gun original plus versitility.

My only issue with buying a new barrel for this gun would be that I haven't seen another short, stainless barrel equipped with chokes.

I don't know if you are aware or not, but those guns are electroless nickle plated, not stainless steel.. Just an FYI..

Yeah, that was my oversight. Same end result. Can't find a barrel with interchangeable chokes with a matching finish.
