Mags for a Springfield 1911 (PB9108L)

My son just bought this loaded 1911 Mil-Spec model and is looking for mag manufacturer recommendations. He'll likely shoot some IDPA, so both std and large capacity mags would be of interest. Thx in advance.

  Hello been shooting BULLS-EYE for 35 years MAG TECK is my first choice they have best follower and allways function.Wilson etc are also good. solid bottom last longer but removable bottom are easier to take down and clean. if you are dropping in the dirt.

  The Wilson 8 and 10 round mags and the McCormick Powermags are among the best. If he is shooting IDPA, he will be limited to 8 rounds.
