Question.....Crimson Trace lazer grips
My son deploys for Afghanistan soon, bought him a pair of Crimson Trace Lazer grips for his issue M9....grips are currently in route to him...but now I have a question.
Can the lazer beam "stream" be seen at night by others to source it back to the shooter? Only time I've seen them used is in the daylight, can't say I've ever noticed anything in brighter conditions.
Would like to give him a "heads up" if this is the case at night.
Anyone have any experience with these and night vision equipment?

yes, the lazer beam can be seen at night!!! the point of origin can be detected although very small!!! as far as being seen with nightvision, i have no experience!!!! maybe contact crimson trace and they should know.

Switch it ON in a smokey room and it will look like a red string from point of origin to the target [B)]
