you can buy a mag extension for pretty much any popular 12ga right now. 870, mossberg, winchester. should run you about 30-40 bucks.

I owned a Mossberg 590 as my home defense shotgun for awhile. It jammed to much for something you stake your life on. I bought a used Remington 870 and have been happy with it.

I have a Winchester defender I bought at basically nib it was used but less than 20 shots threw it.

I got it for like 165.00

Best damn shotgun I have ever shot, I use mine for partridge hunting and blowing trees apart :)

Blue book says its worth about 250 for my model so I am really happy not that I would ever sell it.

If you happen to be left handed, check out an Ithaca Model 37 Deerslayer.

Benelli 121 M1 if you don't want to rack a slide, what a powerhouse and reliable. I also have Winchester 1300, 870 and a 590 cruiser.

Thanks for the info, sounds good.

Does anyone know if any new pump shotguns have the feature like the old Model 12 where you can hold the trigger down and "pump to shoot"?

Is this a feature that was banned or just discontinued?
