Ruger M77 Mark II .308

I was the friend that TMAC had posted the first Ruger topic about. I just wanted to thank everyone for there help and there opinions. I did some price shopping on what a new Ruger M77 Mark II .308 stainless synthetic would cost. After I went and looked at the gun I decided that gun was the one for me. It was comfortable and in awsome shape. I did buy it and I'm excited about owning my first rifle. Once again I just wanted to thank everyone for giving me advice. I 'am new to hunting and guns so your posts helped me tremendously.[:)]

    Some advice from an fat old man. Hang on to that first rifle. When you get as old as I am, you'll know why. I still have my firsst one and there is just not enough money in the world to buy it. It will go to one of my grandsons.

    I don't think I would ever want to sell my first rifle. I'm taking the gun to a friends house and we are putting a scope on it and sighting it in. It will be the first time I will shoot the gun. And hopfully I will be able to take it out for a hunt in the next couple of weeks. [:D]

    Ah yes grasshopper. The .308 the mysteriously accurate cartridge often put down but will always get the job done. Congrats.
