Barrett M82A1
What is the difference b/n the barrett m82a1 with the full length scope mounting rail and the m82a1 with the raised bar/mount (for a scope)but does not have the full lenght rail?

Hello all. I am just posting to ask for opinions and advice on a possible price range for the rifle I listed in the subject.
It has the Pelican case, 2 10 round magazines, and I have the scope rings specifically made for the rifle that I would be including. I also have about 30 rounds or so of .50 ball ammunition for it left over as well.
It's had about 500 rounds shot through it and is in good condition. Everything works fine and it looks good still except for a few minor rust spots on it. It's been quite a while since I've shot the thing. Most, if not all of the rust spots will be completely gone by the time its ready for selling though.
Any ideas on a price range for one of these? I bought it from the previous owner back in Dec of 99 and he had only put less than 50 rounds through it. I know I have only put through about 400 and thats why I rounded it off to 500 just in case. Please post any ideas you may have. Thanks!

I don't mean to be a pest, but any ideas? Just a range would be fine. Or a direction in where I could possibly get more info about this stuff. This is the first time I've tried to auction anything before, needless to say, a firearm. 0 -
Add $50 to what you paid the previous owner and try selling it for that. Beach

To get an idea of the current market price of most common guns, go the Gunbroker home page & do a "smart search" on a key word (in this case, "Barrett"). Select completed auctions within the last 90 days, & find what similar guns have actually sold for.

I'll give you $300 for it. LOL. Just joking. It's probably worth in the ballpark of $5000 to $5500. It's a tough market. The demand for the M82 is not a strong as a year ago. 0
