saiga .223 need more than just a 10 round mag

does anyone know what the deal is if u can buy or convert to use 30 round mags for this gun?

    It's a real sticky situation. Got to be carefull, or the Feds will come a calling.

    If you want to do the full deal, you will have to add a certain number of American made parts.

    If you try to alter one of the hi-caps made for the miltary AK's, you can only legality alter it to the extent that it will still be able to function in a military AK. If you screw it up, they can get you for manufacturing hi-caps.

    My 2 cents, It's not worth it.

    I read that Hess Arms makes an AK in .223, they have an adapter to use AR mags also if you wish.

    Check into it. Maybe the adapter will fit your Saiga.
