Remingtom Model 11 Stock Update

I did some reasearch & it turns out that the early model 11" did have the round knob stock. Check out www.remington.com The following is copied from that wec site.
Other changes, mainly aesthetic, were made from time-to-time throughout the production period. Such changes include the addition of decorative roll marks of game birds on the sides of the receiver (circa 1931) and two redesigns of the buttstock. The original Model 11 round knob Browning type grip was discontinued in 1913 or 1914 on grades 1, 2 and 3, replaced by one with a flat, half pistol grip design. The round knob continued to be provided on grades 4, 5 and 6 until by 1919 the flat grip had been made standard on all grades.
