Remington Model 1100 16 Gauge

I need to replace the stock and forearm on my model 1100 16 gauge. Will the wood from a 12 gauge fit? It is difficult to find anything for a 16 gauge.

  they should , the barrel channel may be just a little bigger on the 12 but it shouldn't brother any thing , if you decide you want a set off of a 12 let me know
