Colt light rifle 7mm
I have the chance to buy a Colt light rifle 7mm NIB for $400. I'm not familiar with this gun. Is it a good gun and worth $400? Any pros or cons with this gun?

i have not owned one, so my opion doesnt really amount to much, but have handled a couple and have heard that they shoot well...i quess I would ask myself what other similar gun I could get nib for $400 ( mountain rifle style in a magnum caliber ) and after scratching my head for a minute or two, would run out and buy this one ! 0 -

This is an answer from back a bit.
The original design was done by Melvin Forbes and his company, Ultra Light Arms, now New ULA. Colt bought the rights from Forbes to manufacture and sell the Colt Light Rifle, then proceeded to run it into the ground. They outsourced virtually all of the parts manufacturing so spare parts are non-existent. Forbes bought it back from Colt and has spent the last couple of years trying to locate all of the manufacturing suppliers and any spare parts that may be around. He has not only taken back the company but also the responsibility of trying to keep the Colt customers happy even though they are not really his problem. Good customer service.
