spot refinishing

I messed up and put a good sized nick in the forearm of my Ruger #1. I there a way to refinish the spot or do I need to do the whole thing? I wouldn't normaly mind, but this is a really atractive gun. Thanx, Earl

  Check in your area for someone who has experience in antique furniture restoration.There are methods of touch-up that are almost invisible. Far less noticeable than complete refinishing.
