Ihave a j unertl condor 6x scope.
It doesn't seem to be very clear
with a few dings and bluing wear.
now two questions. Is it possible
that someone has opened it and screwed
with it and could it repaired? Also
would it be worth doing that or just
have a "less than 1000 post give away".

If each before his own
door swept,the whole
village would be clean.

Hello UNERTL made some of the best optics if it is not clear you can bet someone has been in it. The Condor was a 1 inch scope with turrets not the long TARGET type that UNERTL is famous for. There are scope repair people but it might cost more then a new brand other then UNERTL replacement. If you are going to give away I will take and give you a donation. Karl 0 -
According to the scope book your Unertl was one of the models that was kept in production, nearly till the company went out of business, circa mid 80's.
It's value is given in the book, as in the range $125 - $200. Since the book is 4 years old, the value of the scope might have changed since then.

Thank youse, us old NYers aren't up
to anything but plain old basics. A
p17 30/06 is about as fancy I go.
I ssstill don't know what I am closer
to a decision.

I believe Unertl is in Mars, Pa and has a website. They might clean it up for you. 0
